Our vision was to provide an elegant and luxurious space, dedicated to event planning and hosting. Insight and a desire to meet the needs and requirements of both social and corporate clientele, prompted us to develop the Mississauga Convention Centre. Since opening our doors in 1999, our 30,000 square feet of pillar and obstruction free exhibit space, has provided a facility suitable for all types of events. Formerly The Eglinton Theatre, this historic landmark has been restored to its original 1937 grandeur! Recapture the elegant design and sophistication of this majestic facility. Boasting one spectacular ballroom, the venue is exclusively yours for the evening.

Holding true to its art deco décor, The Eglinton Grand is adorned with rich woods including mahogany and ebony, elegant marble, beautiful wainscoting and period furniture. The balcony level will create an ideal private cocktail area. The venue can host dinners from 100 to 530 and receptions for up to 1000 guests.

Winnipeg Convention Centre

While the conference, meeting and consumer/trade show business are our primary market segments, many spectacular events that have required a wide range of specialty lighting, staging and dramatic effects are handled by our experienced professionals each year. The Centre opened its doors in 1975 and is a uniquely designed five-level facility - two levels of underground climate controlled parking space for 560 vehicles and three levels of over 160,000 square feet of meeting and trade show space. Today, our modern and unique features include: direct Internet access, high speed data lines and FiberOptic cabling. Our first floor level provides over 21,000 square feet of meeting room space plus a number of specialty rooms including a teleconference / video conferencing centre. Our second floor level provides over 24,000 square feet of meeting space plus a concourse area with a variety of retail shops and services, including the Centre Place Café, print centre, hair salons, candy, news and smoke shops plus an art gallery. Our third floor level features our primary exhibit hall of 78,000 square feet of pillarless space with full services provided via floor ports. Our Grand Ballroom accommodates up to 400 seated guests, while our Junior Ballroom provides a more intimate setting, accommodating up to 100 seated guests.
